How do I stop blisters on the balls of my feet?
I play a lot of sport and continually get blisters on my heals and balls of my feet. I've tried Compeed plasters but to no avail.

Scholl make cushions that are transparent and are called Party Feet - I have used them when out dancing with high heels and they are great but my brother has worn them with trainers and you can also buy them for heels, sling back shoes and even for between the toes when wearing flip flops. I think Superdrug sell their own brand but I have not used them

On your own you could try putting vaseline on you feet covered by a sock before you go to bed and/or when you are just relaxing. Also if you are wearing shoes mandatory for a sport you could try putting a really good padding in the the instep of your shoes.

find a softer pair of trainers for a start it sounds like the ones you're using really aren't made to fit you.

Woolly socks are the answer! Ido a lot of 10k's and 1/2 marathons and the only thing that stops me getting blisters when all else fails is a good pair of woolly socks. You will forget how silly you look when you think how fantastic your feet feel. It doesn't seem to make them any hotter or itchy either.
Yup, as someone said previously, Party Feet are the best thing for the job. They now come in many different shapes and sizes, for different parts of your foot, and are far more resilient than Compeed plasters, as they are made from silicone. They are available in Superdrug, and prices vary reliant on what type you need. The Superdrug own brand ones will do a similar job, but there aren't as many varieties available. They are, however, cheaper. This should hopefully protect your feet better from the pressure that causes blisters, but it may be worth investing in trainers with inbuilt springy cushions for sports as they will protect your feet long term, and are obviously designed for this specific job.
Get your feet properly measured to ensure you are wearing the correct size,also check that there are no worn spots on the insoles in your sports shoes,if so either replace the insoles(if possible) or buy new. if possible do not play any sport with shoes boots that have not dried completely if previously wet. always ensure that there is no loose debris from previous wearing.
get an electric scooter
make sure your socks fit properly. i get blisters on the bottom of my feet when i wear socks that are too big fir me..they tend to fall down and rub at the bottom of my foot.
also make sure you are wearing as good tight pair of sports shoes and that they are laced up properly.it may be these that are rubbing your feet and giving you blisters.
I have walked four marathons and six half marathons so I can relate. I have had some bad blisters until I bought the right shoes and socks.
If you go to a running store, they can fit you for a good pair of shoes. Once you find a good brand, you can buy them online or at discount outlets, but shoes are very important.
You may need to buy several pairs depending on the sports, i.e. basketball shoes would be different than running shoes. It will be a good investment.
Next, spend money on blister-free socks. Be sure to wash them before you wear them. If you buy 3 pairs at a time, you can save a couple bucks. They can be as high as $10 a pair, but worth it.
Finally, there is body glide in a tube you can rub on your feet to prevent irritation. Prevention is better than limping.
I used to suffer with sore feet through playing squash but wearing 2 pairs of socks has helped.
Also, you can get those ankle supports made out of wetsuit rubber which do a good job of protecting most of the foot and heel.
Sounds as though you shoes are either too big, or not properley laced. Short of buying new shoes, I'd invest in some anti-blister socks.
