Which is better TNA or WWE?
now i know some ppl will say wwe is better coz tna suk or tna is better coz wwe is boring but for a change i thought i'd see if i could get some decent answers.
Answers:
If we go back a few years ago, I would say that TNA is pants. Back then, the wrestling was very 'washy' and it just wasnt professionally made, and they included some sort of extreme thing chucked in. in my opinion.
Today, however, TNA is getting much better, well from what I have seen of it anyway. The wrestling matches are more professional and seen to follow the old school ways --- the better way.
I aint saying that TNA is better here, but it is improving and still needs a lot of work admittedly.
The WWE in my opinion is just getting worse as the years pass. They just seem to focus on talent that gets money in but in wrestling matches itself they are utter rubbish. I suppose the WWE have been like that for a long time when you think about it.
WWE are expanding their business all the time. Just like my last answer (to a question), the WWE now have their own 'movie' department, to promote their wrestlers and business. Its "Pro Wrestling" for the wrong reasons.
So which is better? In my opinion, none of them. This "entertainment" value in my opinion has destroyed the principles of what this system was. When I say entertainment, I mean the storylines, the acting, the stupid playboy girls that flash all to the cameras, etc. To me it is a discrase!!
If I had to pick one promotion over the other.. or if both promotion were on TV at the same time.. what would I watch.. TNA or WWE. It is a hard question!! I would probably go for TNA!!
At the end of the day, I prefer watching the Japanese stuff today because it is more of an 'art' to wrestling. However, even they focus more of silly slaps than wrestling. but it is MUCH better than the American promotions.
As a 'historian', as I normally refer myself as. nothing beats the old-school! the 70's or earlier was much better wrestling!! Although still a work admitedly. but the matches were more idealistic and had real values!!
Entertainment Wrestling has moved with the times of course. but many have changed for the worse than it has for better!! I suppose if you love watching those silly female wrestlers do those silly 'playboy type' matches. then nothing will change.
Watching the female wrestlers is just stupid. Exposing themselves while flirting to the crowed is embarasing and a complete discrase considering the WWE is the biggest promotion, and represents 'wrestling' to the world!! It gives Entertainment Wrestling the wrong identity, even the to lesser, smaller promotions that are trying to keep to the realism of what we know as a 'work' Pro Wrestling.
Some of these girls have been in erotic films for Christ sake!! Is this really what we want to see on SmackDown and Raw, even in TNA? I guess most people will disagree with me! Then again, I suppose most will be aimed for the Teenagers rather than the older wrestling fans right?
Dont get me wrong. as todays wrestlers are very good, and they can do more than what we see of them in these 'so-called' matches. Check this out from 2 TNA stars then tell me that watching the American style is better. I mean John Cena? Well, if you call his matches good?
This is in a Japan promotion. better wrestling!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-504t0j3q.
There is still talent and there is no doubt about it! Lets have less storylines and less silly ("oh look at my body boys!") women!! More focus on wrestling. like the oldschool days!!
Lets make it an 'art' of wrestling, in a sense that will make the real amateur or submission wrestlers and fighters proud to even watch it themselves!!
It may not be an answer you seek.. but it is certainly a decent answer which is something your looking for right?
All the best!!
wwe because has a better roster also tna has the suckiest names for ppvs
WWE cause TNA has people that WWE doesn't want anymore; Christian Cage, and Kurt Angle just to name a few losers.
i like both but tna is improving, all the really good people from wwe ( scott steiner, sting rhino,.) went to tna. but wwe has had a few cool apperances latley, like steve-o and chris pontious
I prefer the WWE.
they're just as crap as each other
i think WWE.
WWE 'cause therez more action and itz just better than TNA!!!
They are both fake.
I like WWE better because they seem to stick to a plot. It's like you are watching a soap opera and you can always figure out what is going on. Besides, who couldn't love something that has the ever so sexy Shane McMahon on it!?
If you find T n' A boring, you must be queer. WWE is just a bunch roid monkeys play fighting acting like morons. Ti.ts and A.s.s are much better. You can play with'em, WooHoo
WWE
WWE because of the better storylines
Both are as likeable as the other, but TNA seems to be rising up, WWE is slowly whithering away the ideas department can't think of anything decent in way of storylines. TNA doesn't only get the ones WWE don't want. Most stars of TNA didn't wanna be in WWE, and i can't blame them
I think WWE because they have a better story line and there alot of action.
Most people think that all the former WWE wrestlers that are in TNA were fired but they left on their own terms,TNA has a better roster like Scott Steiner,Jeff Jarret,Kevin Nash,The Dudley Boyz,Christian(Cage),Road dogg,Billy gunn ,Kurt Angle and many more.
If the WWE fans knew what was going on backstage and how the management treated their WWE superstars everyone would become a TNA fan(WWE didn't care if Kurt Angle broke up with his wife because of all the traveling,WWE's attitude was if he broke up with his wife then he could wrestle a lot more...Disgusting).The WWE repeat their story lines over and over again like DX because WWE was losing ratings to TNA because TNA has better action and story lines(FACT),DX aren't making a difference which is why WWE brought back ECW but that hasn't made a difference
Little to choose between them but I guess WWE just has the edge.
Honestly I've never watched a full episode of TNA.I like WWE much better.!
WWE in terms of star power, main eventers i mean. But TNA in terms of midcards. Most of the midcard matches in the WWE aren't worth watching. At least TNA knows how to promote tag teams and the x-division. WWE has completely forgetten about their tag teams and cruiserweights.
If you don't promote your midcards good, then where will you get your future stars? thats why TNA is on the rise. Sure WWE pushes some of them but in TNA you have a better shot if being a successful midcarder and future main eventer
WWE is better and always will be because Vince is too smart and too sinister to let TNA pass him.
wwe is the best why you ask or are you just bored with your life
WWE is definetly better. Look at TNA - it's full of WWE cast-offs e.g. Angle, Christian, Rhyno, Dudleyz, James Gang etc. Jarrett always wins and we have old-timers like Sting and Nash still knocking about. If it weren't for AJ and Daniels there would be nobody of note.
TNA got much better cruiseweights
buter their wrestler's gimmick and personality sux
take LAX 4 example
why do people say dumbass things like .there both fake.nice one sherlock..nobody over the age of 10 thinks it is real. that doesnt take away from the entertainment factor and the sacrifices theses guys make..as for better..raw is the most watchable show..tna is great but they have a few no marks on the roster that are awfull and while jeff jarret is there main heel they will struggle..but look out for these guys ..somoa joe and aj are the hottost around..if tna can keep them who knows what may happen..
Hmm well I think that wrestling was better back in the day, but I'd go with WWE.
At the moment WWE, but it will be interesting to see what happens when TNA start there 2 hour show.
I think it is good for the industry that there is competition, I think even Vince is relishing it.
For a long time WWE had no one to be compared to and was becoming stale.
With Christian jumping to TNA it made WWE sit up and take notice of what was happening over there.
I think Christian made a good decision, he was one of the most talented all round superstar’s WWE had.
His battles with Chris Jericho were great (my pick for best match of Wrestlemania 20).
And yet he was constantly overlooked.
With Kurt Angle joining TNA now it should really bring them to a bigger audience.
I just hope they don’t go the way of WCW & throw to much money around just to attract big names, while under using there original more talented stars.
TNA is really corny and I don't think their wrestling is that good either. WWE is mainstream they have good storylines and their wrestlers are amazingly muscly and fit lol. Even though Vince McMahon is a big loser and shuts everything on wwe down on the internet; WWE is still the best wrestling company around.
hmmm depends what criteria one is using. On pure in ring action, i prefer TNA, especially the X division. WWE however, has the advantage in the promo department, Kurt angle aside, they really lack somebody with top range mic skills who can also wrestle.
WWE's problem is in the back room, Vince is insistant on using an outdated ring style and a lot of the gimmicks are well past the sell by date (Umaga could have walked in from a 1970's Memphis Wrestling angle) The writing and booking are also well below par relying on cheap pops and even cheaper heat (its nearly 1 year since eddie died and they are still milking it)
