Who will win the Tri-nations this year?
I would like to see the Lions do it but I can't see them doing it in the southern hemisphere if they could not raise their game in Britain last year

Australia this year.They are TOO big,TOO fast and TOO much league savvy to lose again.I would ilke to see The Lions play the final against them though as it would be good for the game.I remember some torrid encounters when both of these teams played in the sixties and early seventies.

Australia tend to peak in world cup years. But as Phil Kearns once said, in a thousand years time there will have been 250 world cups and New Zealand will still be the favourite. I guess the same goes for the Tri Nations.
Hang on a minute, you are talking about League. Well remove the words New Zealand and insert Australia and you will have the answer. I know that the Lions are getting stronger but they're still a few years off.

Sturat843, you forget, the British Lions League team is made up of 90% of St Helens players, and who won the League Leaders shield, the Challenge Cup and the Grand Final? St Helens did, if they can do all that, I'm sure they are capable of beating both the Kiwis and the Aussies this year. and bringing the cup back home to Britain, BTW, I'm a St Helens fan, and a lot of people in the North West and parts of Yorkshire, are saying we have a good chance this year! Don't write off our chances, we can win this year, and we will!
After watching the Air New Zealand final last Saturday, It's going to be the All Blacks who wins the Tri-Nations. They all look so strong.
i think the aussies will win it, they seem to have more quality and a wider pool of players to pick from.
of course i want GB to win especially down under but i just cant see it, as usual the GB side is picked not on form but by who the players are and who they play for,until we get rid of this "picking your mates" syndrome and pick the best players in those positons we will never be succesful

well judging on last nights performance between the kiwi's & the Lions, neither of them will win. Toooo much mistakes from the kiwi's & the lions suprised me by playing pretty good but they just don't know how to finish. Aussie's are just too good but I am hopping for another kiwi win.
