Football for disabled kids ? ? ?
My 8 year old lad loves his footy, he has cerebral palsy and plays twice a week, though non-competitively. Anyone know of any teams in the north west area, everything I've found only begins aged 11. I've tried all kinds of websites so help would be very much appreciated.

Hello Champ, I was looking around the websites for you but you probably found the same yourself... There are many out there but the few I kept for you seem to be the best.
There is a lot of talk about forming clubs for the disabled and on one site they mentioned contacting your local FA club for information. So if you do not find anything suitable on any of the sites I found you should do that. There should be one near to where you live, if all their talk is true.
Another thing.Google failed to find one of the sites for me when I was testing them for you so I went to Ask.com and put it on there and up it came. If your search engine fails to find them go to Ask.com. Sorry if I am confusing you here. I know just a little about searching and less about football but I so wanted to find something for that young boy. I hope there is something to suit him and he will be scoring goals like nobody's busuness in no time at all. Here are the sites I found.

I previewed this answer and I see only part of the address above is blue. If the site fails to come up for you then key in the whole thing yourself as I did....Good luck.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to write to the p.e teachers at the schools in that area. They may have some ideas or might be willing to give up some spare time to help.
