Where do boxing promoters puchase the gloves for boxing contests?

Answers:
The Trainer or Boxer buys the gloves at variations of places, but mainly at Sport Stores like Dicks Sporting Goods, MC Sports, etc. Or they Get It Online (If you get any online be very careful)

It's not the promoters that purchase the gloves. They (Gloves) have to be approved for competition by the states Boxing Commission after both boxing camps agree on the gloves which will be used, the Commission then supplys the gloves for a fee because after each professional fight new gloves are purchased, gloves like Everlast, Grant, Reyes and Winning have a patch on the inner cuff of the glove stating that they are indeed approved gloves and are approved for actual boxing competitions professional and amateur. Nobody in their right mind would go to a sporting good store to purchase boxing gloves for a amateur or pro bout.
in the pros for world championships the boxers agree on a glove type then they are provided by the governing body officials of that make sure the gloves ha vent been tampered with.in the amateurs the club that has organised the boxing show provides the gloves but the have to have the Amateur Boxing Accociation stap of approval and only certain gloves like Top Ten and Greenhill gloves have that on the side of the boxing glove itself. . .
websites like grant, title and everlast make gloves for competition
Promoters have many brands to choose from: Ringside, TKO, Grant, Reyes and Everlast, to name a few. In pro boxing the boxers usually state the kind of glove they want. The promoter will then purchase whatever brand they want directly from the company.

In amateur boxing, the gloves are provided by the host of the shows. Most used are Fightgear, Everlast, Title, TKO and Amber. All gloves used in amateur competition must be approved by USA Boxing.

Neither pro nor amateur boxers have their own competition gloves.

The boxing commissions supply the gloves for a fee. The promoters/fighters handlers may get some say or request with regard to weight and brand if both camps are in agreement.
