Who should be in England startin XI?

I think it shld be Robinson, G.Neville, Terry, Ferdinand, A.Cole, Lennon, Gerrard, Carrick, J.Cole, Rooney, D.Bent.

Answers:
I think your goalie and back four are right but then Hargreaves as holding midfield player with J cole Gerrard and Lennon in front, with Crouch (he's getting the goals) and Rooney.
Quite simply. what the hell difference would it make. they're all over-paid. have no pride and are shite as soon as they put on the 3 Lions!
Harrison,
I agree entirely. Most of them have no desire to win. I bet the footballers get together after a premiership game and have a joke about how they earned more in that 90 mins than the average member of the crowd does in a year.
Lets stop being obsessed with the so called beautiful game, that seems to be full of overgrown children that cheat, scowl, pull faces and lie to the ref about tackles. fouls etc. They really need a reality check
Rooney A. Johnson

J. Cole Lampard Gerrard Lennon

A. Cole Terry (c) Ferdinand Neville

Robinson
A selection out of the Scottish and Northern Ireland teams, because at least they are both playing with much more pride and passion, as are Wales.

But seriously I quite agree with you, with the addition of Andy Johnston and I don't think you can discard Frank Lampard and perhaps, David Beckam or Michael Owen, should still be playing as they made an influence in the team.
play 4-4-2

GK: Robinson

Lb: Cole
Cd: Ferdinand
Cd: Terry
Rb: King

Lm: Carrick
Cm: Gerrard
Cm: Hargreaves
Rm: Lennon

St: Defoe
St: Rooney

Subs:
Lampard
Carragher
Bent
James
Jenas

this is their best team
robinson, cole, terry, ferdinand, neville, lennon, gerrard, hargreves, cole, rooney, johnson

Sorted, enough said!
I think it's about time James came back to the lineup to be honest with you. His performances have been much better than Robinson's as of late. (Don't get me wrong, I like Robinson more)

James; G. Neville, Terry, Ferdinand, Bridge; Gerrard, Lampard, Hargreaves, J. Cole; Rooney, Crouch

of course Phil Neville can replace Gary Neville, Hargreaves (seeing as he's injured) can be replaced by Carrick, and if Rooney is out of form then you can throw on Defoe.
Hargreaves would be in there
Robinson (mind those ruts!!)
neville(pass back away from goal) ferdinand - terry - cole
shaun W Phillips - Gerrard - Hargreaves - Garath Barry
Rooooooooney - johnson

reckon baines will be pushing for coles place.
barry is perfect for left midfield as downing is total rubbish
other left is richardson maybe, time lampard was dropped
Thats a great team but how could you have Bent instead of Andy Johnson? It makes no sense Johnson is the in form striker in the country at the moment. Carrick for me would not even make the squad Hargreves would be a far wiser choice.
My starting 11 if fit would be
Kirkland
G. Neville J. Carragher J. Terry A. Cole

A. Lennon O. Hargreaves S. Gerrard J. Cole

M. Owen D. Ashton
I know this team can win David James, Gary Neville, W.Bridge, Terry, Ferdinard, Sol Campel, Steve Gerrard, Joe Cole, Rooney, Jonhson, Crouch.

System: 4-1-2-1-2, Pivotal rolls played by Sol Campel (defensive) and Rooney (attacking). Owen Hagrevees can play substute depending on an early goal or a late chase for a win.but not a starter. Other subs:- Robison, Ashley Cole, Lampard, W.Phillips, Downing, Beckham.

Coach Redknarp, Assistant coach Martin Oneil, Trainer Sam Allardcye (don't ask me where I will get money to pay them, they can comfortably share Mr Erikson's Salary without the bonuses being paid to him when he is clearly out of contract)

But since I don't want the three lions to win anything, I will introduce Lampard instead of Sol Campbel, drop Johnson for the dead. Ashley Cole, who can't pass the ball, will be my Starter and a desparate Robinson, who is trying HARD to lift his club, in goal for a David James, who is experianced and obviously enjoying rich form.

I will make sure I DON’T assign any particular role to Lampard and Gerrard, let them run like crazy cats. I will also make sure I let Lampard take each and every freekick near the goal into the human barrier wall with hope of that magical deflection instead of a David Beckham who would have kicked it well over and above the cross bar.

And for poor Rooney,….. I will make sure he fights for every ball thrown forward from Robinson, Ferdinard and Gary Neville but I will also make sure that by the time he wins it, Peter Crouch is laying far behind him in the mid field.

I will also shuffle the bench vigorously with the introduction of Walcot (beauty contest against Becky), W. Philips will be dropped from pitch to the locker room, the same treatment applies to Sol Campel. I will get a Steve McClane as coach (after failing to impress at club level and a through thumping of 7-0 at his last club level managerial job).

Then I will proceed to the Media and shout until my voice is hoarse. Never mind that I don't need spects to see that Rooney is definately not anywhere near Pele or Maradona for that matter. Did I say that I can also win whichever tournment I enter into regardless of the fact that the last major one I won spans 40yrs back in 1966. I also have to PAINFULLY convince the fans that we are putting out a great team this tournment when they also have eyes to see that the best that can come out of the Three Lions is DESPARATION!!!!
goalkeeper= paul robinson

aaron lennon
jermaine defoe

the reason behind me choosing this team is they have pace, skill, youth, talent and i believe they have the commitment and passion to represent england. some of these players have had a nightmare time at their clubs and yet can perform brilliantly at international level.

do you think its fair to drop peter crouch after 11 goals in 13 games at international level?

do you think wayne rooney deserves even a place on the bench after his performance since he last scored for england over 2 years ago and his performance so far this premiership season?

Mcclaren is picking a squad capable of great things but the players believe that they have a place no matter what. they are to confident in keeping their place. there should be drastic changes this year and lets hope beckham is back.
