We will watch fantastic duels between Massa, Alonso and Raikonnen in 2007?

Massa is the new Ayrton Senna, finally, one brazilian driver will be champion again...

MASSA AND RAIKKONEN WILL DOMINATE THE F1 SCENE FOR FERRARI LONG LIVE SCHUMI
Going to be phenomenal can't wait!
Wish they could fix up airflow so cars can close right up and not be so comprimised aerodynamically. Too much action in the pits not enough on the track - Iv'e actually got more into motoGp - crazy buggers!
Does God hate Raikonnen- he needs a rabbits foot or a 7 leaf clover.
I think we must be guarenteed some close efforts between Raikonnen and Massa. Massa has been very quick in closing races so should be up to matching Raikonnen at least, and with the same machinery, it should be a great contest.

How close Alonso is will depend on the Mclaren, which has been in and out in recent years, from supremely quick in 2005 to midfield in 2006. Impossible to say, but I would be suprised if they produce a car right away capable of matching Ferrari.

But wouldn't it be nice if we had a few other teams winning races as well? BMW & Kubica, Honda & Button, Toyata & Trulli. They all have big budgets, so come on guys, with Schumi gone, give us a season to beat others and prove F1 is more than just 1 guy.
As of now Ferraris are superior, so Alonso would not be in the equation.

But.next year, new rules, and therefore new cars. Who will adjust to the new rules first? This year Renault did it right away, and that's where they won the championships. Next year the aspiring teams need to get it going from the first GP's.

Drivers-wise, naturally Massa and Raikkonen will be very fast with the red cars. Renault is always a good car, so even if Fisichella is not among the top-top, and Kovalainen is an unknown factor, they will be alright. Big question mark is McLaren. Will they have a fast and reliable car for Alonso? It is not enough to know that Alonso is a great driver and a world champion. Without the tools, he cannot deliver. Look at Schumi when he left Benetton as world champion and went to Ferrari: He won the first title with Ferrari only after 4 years of struggles. So, to see fantastic duels with Alonso depends on McLaren.

I cannot wait for next year with all the changes. A new era, but I think it will be fun.
Very interesting situation at Ferrari next year. With Michael (the absolute No 1 driver) gone, and Kimi getting paid the big bucks, I would presume that Kimi will get the No 1 treatment. Having said that, Massa is being managed by Jean Todt's son, and he has proven that he is a more mature and damn quick driver. If Kimi has some trouble adjusting to his new red car and falls way behind in points compared to Massa in the first half of the season, what will Ferrari do? But I think Kimi will be fine.
I am not sure about that, the ferraris are well suited to the Bridgestone tyres, so they will already have an advantage, but losing Schumacher and Ross Brawn next year and having to accomodate the new style of Raikkonnen my hurt them. Have Massa, or Raikkonnen the amazing ability that Schumacher had in car development? the ability to know which part of the car wasn't working and how to communicate that information to the team so that they can correct and improve the car?

Damon Hill was a master at this, taking the Williams to a dominant position, (Mansell credits Damon with a lot of that work) and taking the Arrows from the back of the grid to the front in one season and then doing the same with the Jordan.

If Raikkonnen, Nor Massa are any good at that vital development role, the Ferrari will suffer as Williams suffered when Damon left the team and their next season, they still had a championship winning car and villenueve won the Championship, Ferrari and Arrows where in the acendancy. The year after that, Williams never won a single race, but Ferrari and Jordan did.

Button has continuity at Honda and he has proven himself to be a good racer when his car performs well. So he should be in the mix. The new guy at Renault beat Michael Schumacher in equal equipment at the IROC (International race of Champions) in France two years ago and although this doesn't prove anything in F1 terms, it shows a raw pace that will have to be reckoned with.

Next year will have Ferraris, Hondas, Mclarens and Renaults fighting it out for honors, and with all teams alledgedly giving equal eqipment to all drivers, it will be the most wide open championship for years...

I cannot wait.
Looking forward to it but will miss Michael Schumacher LOTS
