Why do humans need speed?
However with Steve Irwin being killed in pursuit of a dangerous activity earlier this month, and now Richard Hammond is lying in a hospital with a "significant brain injury" following a 300mph car crash.
Do we now need to find other ways to satisfy our need for adrenaline?
Answers:
Some people like to play at the edge, as if they need an adrenaline rush to know they are "alive"
nope nuhn wrong with living dangerous doing the things you love beside could you think of anything else for your adrenaline instead of dangerous things and speed
Without adventures, we all may as well be dead.
Everyone has flesh and a soul, but not everyone has a spirit. You need all three to really be alive.
It's cheaper than coke
You have missed a point Steve and Richard were making T.V. programs, not for the good of mankind but to make their Bank Manager a happy bunny, in both cases they have reaped that which they had sown. Don't go into mourning overdrive there will be another presenter along in a minute.
I think they live life "on the edge" but at the end of the day they may have loved what they were doing and got a kick out of it but it was also their job and they were paid lots of money, and they paid the price in the end
