Cricket question?
What would happen if the greatest cricket player was born and brought up in a non test nation country?
Would he never be able to play at test level or could he live in a test nation country for a few years and play for them ?
Answers:
He'd probably naturalise in a country somewhere - e.g. become an overseas pro in England - a very tempting one at that because the county would get him for the whole season and not have to worry about international call-ups! He'd naturalise and play for that country I am sure.
how would he play cricket if he was from a country who doesnt play cricket? so how does he know he is a great player?

he had a chance to play for australia, england and west indies
I have no clue what a test nation is. By the way, cricket sucks.
There was an America player around 1900 called King I think who was reputedly an amazing player. I think he played for Philadelphia.
then he would be a mad one like u.
there are several players born in other countries that have moved to England after few years playing at county level they have become eligible to play at Test Level. and have played.
He would need to live in a test playing nation for 5 years and then he would be eligable to play for that Country
Yes he can play subject to the condition that he takes up the permanent residency of the nation which is a test playing nation. There is no 5 year waiting period as some have suggested here. However remember that you have to really make sure that you end up in a country like zimbabwe, bangladesh because you really do not have a chance in countries like england, autralia, india , pakistan or south africa beccause there is already tooo much talent there.
they wouldn't be playing cricket
how would he be the greatest cricketer if he was raised in a non test nation country, he would never have prooved himself against the best.
but look at the likes of robin smith and allan lamb both born in rhodesia ( south africa ) but yet played for england
He will not play and if he play for his country then his team is very weak
lol @ crispy
If God gave him the ability to become a really good player then He himself will show him a way of using it.
Your question is really philosophical you know. Many people may go crazy thinking because many millions of people have died and any of them could have been a great cricketer and they might have never known.
