not played for years(used to play with Ronnie Irani) best bat I have had, and still have is a Grey Nichols, if they still excist, try one
My favourite is the Monkey Faced Bat, although you can't go far wrong with a Fruit Bat
fruit bat, surprisingly loyal and a good coversationalist. unfortunately rubbish at cricket.
B.A.S,and SG.It's what I've used for years,always get a Bowed bat,and the people mentioning bats(rodents)are either trying to be funny,or incredibly Retarded,my guess is there Retarded!
The horseshoe bat is kinda cute, but if you want to give you neighbors the heebies-jeebies go for a sucker-footed bat, tomb bat or a vampire bat, always works for me.

If you asked my brother he'd say a Woodworm Flame. It's a pretty expensive bat but he's good with it.
I'd probably go for a nice Gray Nicholls though.
