What is considered to be a good break for someone just starting to play snooker seriously?
Answers:
Well depends on how long you have been playing. Its a hard game to get good at.
If you are a newbi at snooker i wouldnt have through you are making much more then a 30 break. But concentrate more on your white ball positing, thats the key to snooker.
Watch a game of snooker on the tv and see how many times the players run out of position and pay the price for it.
Try and put all the balls on the line down the table (brown to black) and see how many you can pot, red colour and so on. Will def increase your white ball positiong
Well it does depend how long you have been playing, When you say seriously do you mean you want serious answers are you are goin pro? Iwould be pleased with 20-25 but if your a pro i dont know 50 or so?

About 2 weeks inbetween games should suffice!
When I was starting I always found that a good break was to play pool for a little bit. Or drink some beer.
On the other hand, don't worry so much about the break, but on the number of balls that you have potted in succession *as part of a plan* - your top break could just be fluke. You'll get to the tricky positionals in time. Mid-game, I'd suggest that you want to be looking for a 5-7 ball break if the balls are decently distributed.
if you've literally just started playing i'd say 3 or 4 balls in a row is a good start
when i just started i could get18 then 44 and now what ever way the balls are set up or what mood im in
