I hope he will be fine, I think Cech is the best goalie in the prem, even though i am an LFC fan.
when he finally returns he'll be pretty much the player he was. maybe not as sharp at first but he'll return to match form.

personally i think it was an accident. but was a horrible injury. not sure how big a punishment the fa can give the player. but yeah i wish him well

I'm a Man Utd fan, and although i don't like Chelsea too much, i do wish Petr all the best and a speedy recovery. I'm undecided about the incident and i only heard the severity of his injury on Monday morning. Get well soon Petr. Belfast is with you.
It was a dreadful pity that it happened but I don't think Hunt is to blame.
petr cech is the best keeper in the premiership by far, he is on top of his game.
his accident is a major set back, a nasty injury, that will make it very difficult for him to return to the form he has shown over the last few years which has been outstanding.
i do belive it was an accident stephen hunt is not a dirty player, his discepline level is excellent.

Petr is probably the best keeper in British, if not world football and for this to have happenined to him is very sad. I can't believe that Hunt meant to do this much damage to him, but I think the way his knee came down on Petr's head needs looking at closely. Most players in that situation would have dived over the keeper. I wish him a full and speedy recovery. Same goes for Carlo. I think the challenge on him needs another look as well. I thought referees were supposed to be protecting keepers these days. The fella that clattered him should have been sent off. Still, the ref was Riley, one of the worst referees I've ever seen down at the Bridge, and other places. Petr couldn't come back stronger than before. You can't get stronger than he was before this incident. Get well Petr. Nice to see Carlo's out of hospital. Best wishes to them both.

I think that it was an avoidable accident, that whoever it was that kneed him in the head should have been more careful. But I could simply be overreacting due to the fact that I am a goalkeeper and a Chelsea fan. His skull is fractured and he could be out for a year. Fricking Reading took out Cudicini too, John Terry had to go into goal.

I think he's top level career is over. Every manager will be telling their players to put pressure on him. Getting hit in the head will always be on his mind.
Look at Matt Jansen, still got the ability but he lacks the bottle, if I had a bad head injury so would I.
I have just watched the footage of the accident on youtube and I have to say I can now see why the chelsea manager is so upset. It most cases the player coming out to challenge the keeper will either dive over him or leap over him to avoid contact. The way Hunt's knee came down on Cech's head needs to be looked out closely as I think the collision could have been avoided.

People forget it was 10 seconds into Hunt's debut so i doubt he's that stupid to do somrthing so early in his first match.

I sincerely hope he will come back. However I read one report that he might not ever play again. Apparently one knock on his head again could possibly kill him. I hope this is not the case as I think he is the best keeper in the world. I will keep my fingers crossed for him.
