Where can I find a good 10K in London - Nov or Dec. Plus what is a good time for a first 10K?
Answers:
Best thing to do is to look on Runners World website for a 10k. They give all sorts of distances that you are looking for. I have put the link below for you.
In terms of a good first run time, around 50-60 minutes is good. To compare this, decent club runners will look to get sub 40 minutes. What ever you do, don't expect too much for your first time. With practice and training you could certainly improve upon any first run time.
Bonfire night is the 5th of Nov. and Xmas day is the 25th Dec. Both good times for what you want, dude.
A bank.. you lost me
being father xmas at harrods
Don't know about the actual run locations themselves as I don't live in London.
As regards the time, it depends what level of fitness you're at and if you've trained for it. A reasonably fit person should be able to do it in between 50 minutes and 1 hour 10 minutes, depending on whether they're male or female and how their pace is etc.
A big fat lead bellied wader like me would probably take 1 and a half hours, that's if I could make it all the way round !!.
A club runner should be able to do 33-40 minutes for it and a professional athlete 30 minutes or less.
its all lying in the gutters we get it from there all the time just help yourself with compliments from all the banks
