Nonsense. Wherever it started it's a world game now, and the world must have a say in its running. Britain already has far too much representation, holding as it does 4 of the seats on the International Board of FIFA, with only 4 seats being shared among the other 201 member countries.
Though I'm not sure why in that case it has a French name.

That's ridiculous, The best people for the job should be considered, it is a world game, Thanks to us for inventing it, we should take that credit, but the game is global and so every one should have a fair chance at running and playing a part in this sport.
