Why are england so bad at football!!?

Becouse thay don't play from theyre hearts and they are playing only for theyre money not for a victory.Also they don't know how to play as a team and always are arogant before every match saying how thay will win that game,but after theyre lost no one is brave enough to tell how actualy was good the other team.

i have to agree with paul f. the team are to young. paid to mush and party to often. look at history. 1966. the year i was born. so it must have been a good year. 66 the one time that we one the world cup. and the team played like a team should play. but after 40 years of the enland team. the players the managers. i'm sorry people. we are not good enough to beat. i would have said and good european team. but with the last to games. anyone. and yet i find diffrent people making excuses for the players for loosing the game or playing badly. why. we have not got in us. it's the same as the english cricket team. they are just as bad. i thing the only thing that english sport is doing well at. but dont quote me on this is. rugby. but then i dont like it or watch it. i just here about it then i stop listerning.
It's not so much a case of them being bad or anything. I think that the press and the public keep putting them on a pedestal and that adds pressure on the players and indeed, the manager. It all goes back to the fact that England was the birthplace of the game and the dreaded fact that they won the World Cup in '66. It's sad but true. Being a Northern Ireland fan that's not the case. As the song goes (to the tune of Winter Wonderland)

They will get there £70,000 a week if they win or lose so they don't give a flying f+ck they still get there big fat pay cheques every week even if they don't deserve it. Look at the Kenyan long distance runners, They are the best in the world because it is a way out of poverty for them so they try 100%+.
