Is virginia beach a good city?

I really liked the area when I lived there. Property taxes were low and city services were excellent. There were a couple of hurricanes, but they weren't bad. Rent near the beach was outrageous in the summer but cheap in the winter.
Its a beach.
there is alot of college people there and military. it does get crowded with alot of tourists during the summer
To be honest, not particularly.
To visit yes, to live no way.
Its worth a visit,
