Can you recommend a nice hotel in Birmingham?
I will be visiting friends there for a family party and they do not have enough room to have every one to stay overnight. I've stayed in lovely hotels before on business trips, but can't afford them on my own account. I would like somewhere comfortable and convenient for central Birmingham or Moseley/Hall Green area.

You're probably best trying a Travelodge or Premier Travel Inn as they are cheap and decent to stay in, there some located in the city centre and in the outskirts of the city centre.
don't know if this is local enough for for you but i stayed a brilliant place the thistle group i think it was luxury ask the prices you may be surprised its a lot cheaper than we think
The Malmaison in the city centre is pretty good.
somewhere cheap then..well thatlll be coventry. try in meriden, or away from the airport. cov is only 20 minutes away.and a damn sight cheaper. theres the post house at allesley, 10 mins away..£ 45 a night
or you can try B&B which is around 15-20 quid a night.
