Have any of you tried the Servicair lounge at Terminal 3 Heathrow?
Wondering wheather it is worth spending £17.50 to get in. I am flying economy.
Just had enough of duty free. Do not wish to browse in duty free anymore.
Please give me your honest opinions of the lounge .
Answers:
It's fine and away from the hordes. Not as nice as BA lounge, which in turn is not as good as Virgin's clubhouse. They serve a very nice White Zinfandel and we thought the magazine and paper selection was much better last time we went through (end September) than previously.
As lounges go it's ok, all the usual free drinks (alcohol included) reading material, internet, snacks, etc.
So if you are going to buy a drink and a sandwich in the Duty Free area, your half way there to the cost of the lounge access.
It really comes down to how much time you have before the flight leaves.
If you have an hour or two to wait then yes the lounge is great value. You get the 'X-Factor' of feeling pampered before the economy 'squeeze'
Another tip is to check what your credit card offers. I have an Egg card which provides a 50% discount to the price of the lounge.

As a regular traveller through Heathrow, flying economy, I find that the trip to a lounge is a must.
Have a look at the link below for a summary:-
I have used the ServisAir Lounge and it is good, it is not as good as the BA Terraces Lounges etc but if you are looking to escape it is a good choice.
I would give the BA lounge 9.5/10 and give the ServisAir Lounge about 6.5/10.
I think you'll find its Servisair and yeah, i'd recomend the lounge to escape and it is well worth the cost. (but i am biased as i work for them!)
