Cape Town with Children?
I am trying to find a hotel in Cape Town or appartement that is good for a 2 year old?
Answers:
Just go for the International Brands. There is a superb hotel in the V&A Waterfront (sorry can't remember its name).
Make sure you go to Camps Bay (superb beach) & Boulders Bay (a penguin colony you can sit/swim with).
You also need to go to Franschoek/Stellenbosch (wine area with stunning scenery) & up Table Top (rotating cable car is fun).
There is a great cafe out of town at the Rhodes Memorial. Nice afternoon tea & a great view. The staff make a real fuss of kids.
A trip to Robben Island may be too much for a youngster but at least its something to talk about at the creche(?).
The people of Cape Town are very friendly & love kids. The usual sensible security measures should be followed of course.

Depends if you want expensive or not expensive!! I'd suggest trying to find one close to the beach.try Fischoek!! Oh, just all around Cape Town is awesome!! There's a butterfly park inland somewhere.sorry I can't tell you where, it's because I went there over three years ago and have forgotten most of it!! A good hotel is City Lodge.it seriously makes you feel as though it's your home in a huge building!! And it's very close to Table Mountain!!
