Wow! Such courage! Good luck.

1.Walking around the world is mad enough. But I think if your trip is well publicised, you will attract a lot of attention and won't need additional activities. Or involve the different cities to incorporate additional activities. For which charity organisation do you do this? If it is perhaps for orphans, entertain exactly the orphans of the particular town with a few tricks or an act, but you might be too exhausted for that!
2/4. Won't you be sleeping over at places with power supply?
3. Honestly I think it will take you more than February to walk around the world, so you will for instance need more than one bottle of soap/shampoo. But yeah there are especially for sporty men. Why don't you get your soap and shampoo sponsored, then it is also advertising for them!
5. Make sure about certain African countries. You need to plan your exact trip ahead. Don't go through Zimbabwe for instance. I get the idea you haven't planned your world tour entirely yet! But that is probably why you are posting this question.
6. Adventure sport companies will give you great contacts. They might even add to your need on question 1, for instance have a microlight airplane following you!

A trip like this involves increddible planning, lots of publicity and fit people participating! If you are still asking the above questions, extend your departure date! Get huge publicity like Lary King or Oprah!! Get many sponsors! And keep in mind, where will you get the trees?! Most countries will only allow indigenous! Get the countries themselves to supply and sponsor the trees, it is about the action of planting them! Also keep in mind the medical attention you might need etc. etc. Get more people involved in planning this adventure charity trip!
avoid big citys. i remember that guy who rode his bike around the world only for it to get stolen once he parked it up in england :)

can't help you with the other questions but good luck with it, i would join up but i don't think i have the time or money to go around the world although i would love to do it one day.
can some please tell me why do people have to think up such stupid expensive ways to try and raise less than the thing costs in the first place try rattling a can on your own town or not having any presents this christmas or am i missing some thing when my partner died last year we said no flowers and raised over £2000 for a cancer cause in the local hospital no costs no walking just very kind people who loved her
