Electrical conversions for UK items in USA?
Ok, we're travelling over to the USA in January, where the voltage is different to here in the UK. I'm taking my electric shaver and a Canon Ixus 55 digital camera. Will I need a voltage converter to charge the batteries of these two items while I'm there? I know the plug sockets are different, and I'm not talking about a plug adaptor. I don't see any voltage switches on the shaver or camera, but maybe I'm missing something.
Any advice, please?

I have travelled to the USA quite a bit have a look at the instruction booklet a lot of razors and cameras don't need a voltage adaptor if you don't still have them go to your local camera shop Jessops are very good and find a shop that sells the razor that you have
Musicol---well you already know the systems are different..here's what I found after my move from Deutschland to USA. .wait I only brought back lamps. Those are too easy to convert. I would say either shave every other day, or don't shave at all. our 110 won't be strong enough to produce enough juice to charge anything requiring 220 voltage. You could probably pick up a cheap razor here or just go with the bladed razors.at least for your visit. As far as the cam. You really think you'll take enough pics to require a battery change?
