Going away for christmas in england?

im thinking of going away for 3-4 days over christmas, a nice relaxing short break in england, but dont know where to start any ideas?

Wow isn't it too early to decide on christmas or what calender do you use? you stil have 2 months to go.

The National Trust rent out properties all over the UK and they have really interesting properties, like old light houses, cottages etc. Look on their website and you will get lots of ideas for places to go and things to see.
