If I live in Canada but I have a Uk passport can I travel freely to and from the USA?

Answers:
Yes, provided your UK passport is valid and machine readable. You can stay up to 90 days on business or pleasure without a visa provided you are a native of the UK, meaning you were born there. If you received a UK passport from a former overseas possession, like Hong Kong, you will need a visa.
I'm pretty sure that to travel back and forth between Canada and the USA, you don't even need a passport.
You'll need a visa, certainly if you go in by land.
The visa waver scheme (under which UK citizens don't need a visa to enter the States) only applies when flying in - possibly only from the UK.
You difinately need a visa.
Yes.
You are a United Kingdom citizen living in Canada, U.K citizens travelling into the USA on a U.K Passport are Visa exempt from any territory !
