How do I get money transferred from the BBVA bank in Majorca to the Barclays bank in England?
I worked as a kids rep in magalluf for two weeks but then came home because my nana was poorly. So I was unable to recieve my pay. So my manager payed my money into my bank account in the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria that I had opened whilst I was over there. However I am now in England so I cant get the money out. So I need to get it transferred from the BBVA bank into my Barclays bank account

You should have the IBAN number on your bank statement. You need this to make the transfer from Spain. Let them know you want to make an international transfer to the UK and give them that number. That should work.
British IBAN format: GBkk BBBB SSSS SSCC CCCC CC
The four character bank designation is alphabetical, the next six characters are a Sort Code (often a specific branch) and the remaining characters are the customer account number.
The cheapest way is most likly to ask you boss to exchange it there for £otes, then post it to you signed for post, or write to your bank manager there and ask him to send a cheque in pounds, good luck
have them wire it to you.
You will need to do a Bank Transfer or use Western Union - Ring Barclays and ask them how to do it.
Dont send money in the post coz if it goes missing you will not get it back!

Direct wire is the best. Banks are set up to use the SWIFT system and in Europe it's very smooth. Your local Barclay's branch should be able to help you with it.
