If i post a letter first class at 3.30pm friday from liverpool, will it get to london by tommorow morning?

Answers:
It should reach london Saturday and be delivered, but saturday being a weekend can be delayed and delivery will be for SURE on Monday before 8.30am
As long as you put the correct postage stamps on then yes it will
it should do, but Royal Mail are not the most efficient!!
I'd say so, but it truly depends on the time of the last post. Most places will have one after 3.30pm, so it would be likely to get to the destination by tomorrow morning.as long as the area you're posting to has a Saturday postal service.
yes, but to make sure you can do special delivery next time
No but if you drive there yes.
Technically it should - realistically who knows ???
In theory yes, letters are sorted up until 10pm when they get sent out to the areas they are aimed for. I worked for Royal Mail for 3 years and generally the mail does get out on time but obviously mail can get lost or delayed especially at this time of year.

Hope this helps.x
Will be surprised if it manages to leave Liverpool. Went there once to visit my hubcaps.
ask the postman :-)
no - you'd have to send it international express overnight.
yep if its firstclasss it should -as long as there are no probs with the postal service of course!
the Way the Royal mail works? In your dreams..you are either hoping or joking
depends on the letter,

P's and Q's are noturious for getting lost!
did you post it in a box thats collection was after 3.30pm?what postage? If yes and 1st,then yes
It probably will but might not - I believe that the performace statistics show that they deliver about 90% of 1st class letters the next day.
Sorry but No way. You should send it by special delivery. guaranteed delivery by 1pm the next day if you send it after 1pm and 9a.m if you send it before 1pm.
no here if you post before 10 it gets somewhere not too far the next. 3:30 seems too late to make it anywhere the next day
Not since the Night Mail train was taken out of service. I have noticed that my letters from here in Scotland no longer get next day delivery down South. Despite correct address,Post code and correct postage.

Part of the poem ‘Night Mail’ by W.H. Auden

This is the Night Mail crossing the border,
Bringing the cheque and the postal order,
Letters for the rich, letters for poor,
The shop at the corner, the girl next door.
Pulling up Beattock, a steady climb:
The gradient’s against her, but she’s on time.
Past cotton-grass and moorland boulder
Shovelling white steam over her shoulder,
Snorting noisily as she passes
Silent miles of wind-bent grasses.

Birds turn their heads as she approaches,
Stare from the bushes at her blank-faced coaches.
Sheep-dogs cannot turn her course;
They slumber on with paws across.
In the farm she passes no one wakes,
But a jug in the bedroom gently shakes.
Yes it should if the last post goes at 5.30pm, which it probably does.
its possible, but i still use carrier pigeon's ,
As long as the right postage is on the letter then it should get there.
Probably, but not guaranteed
Yeah it will get to london by the next day if you put the correct postage on the letter. 32p for small A5 size letters, and 44p for large A4 size letters.
It should do
Royal Mail http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm. have suggested last posting times depending on where you posted and where you want the letter to be delivered. If posted after this time, Royal Mail are unlikely to be able to deliver the letter. If posted before this time, Royal Mail will aim to deliver to deliver first class letters the next business day but does not make any guarantees.

The fact that you have posted mid-afternoon, you have a very good chance of the first class letter being delivered to Liverpool tomorrow.
