Is it true, that when the tide is out, Co. Clare is TWICE it's usual size?

Answers:
G'way oura that girrul!

Clare is twice its usual size ALL the time tide or no tide. It is not to do with the pull of the moon. Its to do with ATTITUDE,Harry Bohan, Ger Loughnane, Gary Pepper and add your own to the list. C'mon de Banner.I reared my family there and I do miss it, well except Shannon which is a craphole and always was.
absolutely!
oh i mis co clare i dunno if thats true but i was born and raised in co clare in shannon and i miss is so if you know anyone from there let me know
No - the area below the high water mark doesn't count officially!
Yeah. it`s true! I think so.
No

Unless the tide covers half the Burren when its in your statement might be true.
If thats the case then Sandymount East is in Liverpool! You'd want to see how far the tide goes out there! How could you call land that is underwater twice a day part of a county? Surely its just beach?
same thing for my love stick!
Yes it is.
