How long will it take?

hi guys does anybody know how long it will take to get from plymouth (uk) to manchester my b/f is going to watch man utd on sat and wants to know how long it will take thank you.

Answers:
5 hours that is with an Average speed of 30 Miles/h on national and country roads.
Average speed of 60 Miles/h on motorways.
It takes me beetween 4 and 5 hours to get from Farnborough to Manchester, so I'd say it would take about 6 hours for your BF to get there. Make sure he stops at the services just before farnborough as there are no more for like 80 miles!
depends by which method he is travelling, by car it is about 5 hours
Well, my sister went reverse way two weeks back took 15 hours, big gig on though, normally 5 hours comfortably
no freakin clue..u can maybe try go on yahoo.co.uk and click map..then find the distance =P
it takes bout 5-6 hours
Hi on a good day its a 5 hour journey, but on a match day its best to allow atleast 7 hours!!
i have travelled from Blackburn to Portsmouth in less then 6 hours. so he is best getting on the train then driving. also try using a route finder eg www.mapquest.com that will give you a rough idea on how long it will take you. it also depends on if there are any roads closed eg accidents causing long delays.
Checked it out on Auto Route 2006 for you. Its 281.1 miles and should take 4 hours and 7 minutes by their reckoning but ofcourse you will have to allow extra for traffic etc.
If you need directions e-mail me and I will send them on.

Enjoy the match
