Locanda del Ghetto, a very charming little hotel in a nice "campo" (square) in the old jewish ghetto.
Been there two times, very quiet, nice, breackfast to improve.

www.alberghi-venezia.it is the official site of hotels in Venice. I don't know which are gay friendly but I live in a city near Venezia, Padova (30minutes by train from Venice) and I can assure that my city is famous to be one of the most gay friendly city in Italy! see ya! :-)

Why not go to a hilton or Mariott or Ritz because they are American chains run by Americans usually who will be modern. Are there holiday inns and travel lodges in italy? I don't know, well good luck and have fun
