Weymouth in Dorset is gorgeous, and still has plenty to do when the summer season ends, Dorchester is just up the road (Thomas Hardy Country) and they have a market on every wednesday and it's a big one..The hotels & guest houses here are fabulous and very very friendly, if you email me I can recommend some lovely places to stay, if you let me know what you want i.e big hotel or guest house.
Stay i a castle near the South Coast :-)
barcelona
Rimini, Italy
Chester and York are pretty
Go to York. Great place, great shopping. Stay in a nice hotel with a jacuzzi and pop a champagne cork or two! Have a lovely time!

Congratulations!!!!!
barcelona- only 80 mins flight and would be cheaper than many weekends in the UK
WALES A BEAUTIFUL NATION AND ALSO ROMANTIC.TRY THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN COUNTRY CLUB,PONTYCLUN,MID-GLAMORGAN,S. WALES.
Try The Witchery in Edinburgh for a fantastically romantic experience. Buried in the walls of the Castle it's the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in and they treat you like royalty. Beautiful city, fantastic shopping and the hotel has a completely candlelit restaurant for that special romantic meal.
COME TO SCOTLAND,
BONNIE PLACE.
Ask your partner, she deserve her choice.
