Which airline is your favourite and why?

Answers:
Singapore Airlines - the service and their airport is the best in the world
Saudi Arabian Airlines, in the world only one Airline couldn't serve liquor in the Aircraft, and before take off prayer and before landing too. Once anybody use this flight they will feel it.
It used to be Cathay Pacific but I haven't flown with it for years so I'm not sure if it is still as good as before. BA is quite good. Very helpful and courteous. Luftansa gives me the most unfriendly service.
Soutwest Airlines. It's the only one I fly, and my son has been crazy about it since he was a little kid. They are almost always on time, very seldom if ever have mechanical problems and the people are always courteous and friendly. I use it for my son because he is mentally/physically challenged and they have non stop flights to and from where he lives and it's easy for him to fly home. They treat him like a king, which is why HE likes it!
Best airline ive been on was Braniff whilst travelin the states years ago,not in business anymore...
Qantas because they have NEVER had any accidents and their service is really good.
Emirates, because on the two occasions I've flown to Sydney with them I had a 7 hour stop-over in Dubai and they put me up in a hotel both times.

And not even a hotel at the airport, but one we needed a coach transfer to, so I got to see a bit of Dubai and had a few hours kip in luxury. well, compared to attempting to get some sleep by straddling a few airport chairs whilst at the same time trying to keep an eye on my bags!
Virgin.
Best in-flight entertaiment. and pretty hostesses
They are all the same. The only difference is price. (scheduled flights)
Cathy Pacific - their service is superb, even for tourist class.
And they travel to Hong Kong - a fantastic place.
saudi arabian airlines, it's my country's airline, and i think it's great.
I have always found Virgin to be quite good. Have had bad experiences with BA and Air Canada (which should have been called Air 1980s).
Singapore Airlines. Inflight entertainment and the stewardesses are nice, of course more better the male ones. But the greatest of all, the service. You should try the First Class though.
Any airline that can take off AND land is a fav of mine.

I think landing id a very important part of flying.

duh
Emirates - Quality service, quality food with menu, excellent on-board features such as interactive games on-board with the rest of the passengers, 3 movie channels and tens of others including comedy etc. Business class is even better with Champagne and groovy chairs that are all electric and HUGE. FANTASTIC service. ooooo oooooo ooo and they have 2 cameras you can see the plane take off from the cockpit and whats underneath the plane!! EXCITING INNIT
Definitely Singapore Airlines - the inflight entertainment is fantastic, the service is great. I agree that the Singapore airport is the best in the world.
Only experienced Virgin first class, and it was excellent.
for normal bog standard flights, there doesn't seem to be much difference.except STAY AWAY FROM RYAN AIR. they are the worst airline in the world...honestly, even siting on the floor for an Aeroflot cargo flight would be preferable to any seat on a ryanair flight
British Airways blew my mind with excellent service. Swiss Air was excellent also, it's a shame that it doesn't exist anymore.
El-Al
It is the safest in the world, and the crew are very nice too.
SQ or BA. they are both about as good as each other. I fly a lot in my job and they cover the world between them.

From a Business point of view you could not ask for anythign else from both carriers.
United is very good for domestic flights. On time and lot of choice.
Ireland use continental from Newark, new planes comfortable
England use British Air. great food and drinks
I like Delta because I have never had any trouble and everyone is really nice.
Domestic (USA)- Delta: redeeming frequent flyer tickets is actually nota big hassle. I just recently a free RT to Asia on the dates I wanted!

International: Icelandair- not as posh as some, but when you extend your layover in iceland for FREE for up to seven days on your way to or from Europe/USA, I just cant pass that up! Plus, it's usually the best price!
I have to say bmi - mainly cos they pay my mortgage!

Amazing business class though and flat beds are rolling out soon.
