Which part of the U.K do you think is the most beautiful to live in and why?

There are so many beautiful places to visit and live in the U.K and I wondered what everyone else thought.

Answers:
Anywhere on Ireland. Those long plains all full of rich greens. wow
Wales, without a doubt. It's beautiful, everywhere, and the Welsh people are friendly and outgoing.
West coast of Scotland from Loch Lomand to the north.
Stunning stunning stunning.
Wales. But to be specific the Gower, or Gaar as the rich Ruperts who come here to live say. 8>(
i used to live in tolworth, whoch is concrete city and smells bad,and now i live in eastbourne, the south downs is beautiful,as is alfriston in east sussex
I personally love the south coast mainly Dorset there are some spectacular beaches and rock formations such as Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, Ringstaed need i go on.
Also lovely walks in the country side and it is so peaceful.
its all beautiful
I think Cornwall would have to be on the top of my list because it is so beautiful, i don't live their but whenever i do go i feel like i've gone home.
South Devon - beautiful countryside, stunning coastlines, great weather most of the year and Dartmoor in easy reach for the dramatic views.
The wilder parts of North Devon ,Dartmoor etc, still inspires me, But Shropshire is a very underated county,if you have never been, take a trip from Bewdley following the river severn as best you can, right through to wales ,its stunning.
I know of many beatiful locations, but hesitate to share them here, as may then be spoiled.
Find a place YOU like -- and then I suggest you keep it to yourself!
I think that the entire area of Yorkshire is the best..not only do you have the rolling hills, but the rugged (and often treacherous) moors and heather, not to mention the coastline of the N Yorks bit. Its very romantic and beautiful and beer is cheap and the shops are excellent if you get fed up with too much prettiness!
I live in the South Wales Valleys. Our scenery is second to none.

Also all round the South West - Gloucester, Monmouth, going down into Wiltshire and Devon. Very lush and beautiful.

Cornwall, especially the southernmost tip is also breathtaking. Those rugged cliffs tumbling down to the Atlantic Ocean. Wow.

My boyfriend is from Kent (Medway - the chavvy bit) and there are some lovely areas down there - obviously not Medway but the more affluent rural areas.

Dancing on fire - sorry but Ireland is not part of the UK. Only Northern Ireland (Ulster) is.
i live in Hampshire in the new forest its beautiful wild ponies running wild its breathtaking theres 100s of miles of forest and people come from all over the uk just to see the ponies
