What is the best thing to do in Bath, UK?

I'm taking my boyfriend there for his birthday next weekend and would love any suggestions from people who've been there. Thanks.

Answers:
Go to the Roman baths and Churches.
I'm not religious or anything, but some of them are really nice.
As morbid as it is, I found it interesting to read the gravestones and stuff!!

The highstreet is okie too, there's some good shops!
Have a bath with him
its dreary and over priced.I'd cancel and book else where!
Have a bath ?
Have one! Go to the bath & pump rooms and all the other Roman places.
Same as anywhere else; f*ck like rabbits!
visit the Roman bath, do a tour of the town. It is actually a beautiful town and i am sure you won't lack of any ideas once you get there. Have a nice time.
Go to the pump rooms and have a cup of tea.
Visit the Roman Baths - if you're rich! ;-)
Wander about and go and see the Royal Crescent
Visit some antique shops and have a drink in an old pub
Have a look at the Avon river - walk across the Pulteney Bridge which is covered with shops - like that bridge in Florence.
Have nice time!
Leave!
Best thing to do is leave Bath
Its a same your not going in july because they have Dragon boat racing down the river that is awsome to watch nice sunshine few beers doesn't get better than that.
but as its october, maybe abit of shopping there is a load of nice sites to see, lots of good places to eat, nice hotel long lie ins you'll have a great time.
But it is a bit on the expensive side so make sure you have a bit of cash
hava a good soak in plenty of bubbles and mayba a glass or two of champers oh and dont forget the sceted candles
Go for a drink in the moon and sixpence, it's very cosy and you could eat there but I have never liked the look of the food though everyone else says it's good.

There's quite a few clubs if thats your thing and no shortage of pubs/bars.

Hard to tell you what to do with out knowing what you like though, personnaly I like to mill about the shops, take some coffie out side a cafe, have a few drinks, there's really not that much else to do here. The new Spa is probably good if you can afford it.
Check into the Royal Hotel and get one of their short break packages which include wonderful meals. It is cheaper than a hotel with no meals included.

Walk around town and just enjoy the beauty and people. It is a wonderful place!
if you hump together in it you can throw in the washing too, while the water is agitating.
Visit The American Museum and Victoria Park.
get the bus into bristol.
Go to the Thermae Bath Spa.It costs £19 for 2 hours and you can use the steam rooms, swimming pool and roof top pool which overlooks Bath. Its dead posh too. Remember to take your swimwear and towels (or you can hire towels for £2.50).

I definitely recommend it - the roof top pool would be amazing on a lovely crisp autumn day.
enjoy the town but do have a look inside bath abbey. i had the coldest shivers down my spine that i've had in my life when i walked inside. enjoy.
