Romantic hotels in UK?
Hi there,
I am looking to take my boyfriend away next weekend, and am looking for something romantic, maybe in the countryside but within reach of some activities. I was having a look at going somewhere round thorpe park or another theme park. Any ideas folks.

Hey The Grand, Ive sent the executive management of my company there this week for a meeting. Im not sure its very romantic? And its not cheap!
If you really want romantic. There is a hotel in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Called the Drummond Arms Hotel. Built in the 16th Century, it was a Jacobean stronghold. Very "Olde Worlde". Real Fresh Scottish Breakfast. Scenery "Breathtaking" You can drive up to Balmoral and Royal Deeside for a day out. Perhaps visit a few of the Whisky Distilleries.

Themed lodge in Windermere so really nice scenery etc . Some of the rooms are a bit wierd but there are really nice ones and its not breaking the bank. Nearby there are water sports climbing and such things . At grizedale which is nearish ( you can get a bus easily enough) theres a rope course. Nice walks which cost nothing which is always good.
