Poland - hand baggage?

I an off to Krakow soon and have just checked the aiports website and it would appear that Poland is now the only country not letting anybody take any hand baggage on flights out of Poland - has anybody come back from there recently and if so how strict are the rules and regs or has the webiste just not been updated?

I just flew back from Krakow August 22nd. They were VERY strict! I left for Poland in June for school and I had a carry-on with me and my laptop and after the whole thing in London I had to put my laptop in my suitcase and send my carry-on bag with my luggage - that's because I had one when I flew in. There were people at the airport giving out clear plastic bags. You could only take your documents (passport and a ticket) and a wallet. People had their things thrown out, like books, even pens, literally EVERYTHING. You could only take more stuff if you are traveling with a baby. They search every single person. I'd be careful, if you have any more questions, call the information center at the airport, they will have all the updated info you will need (I think the Krakow airport will be more helpful than US because Poland tends to be more strict and yes, they speak english there). Have fun in Krakow though!
the rules and regs in Poland are really harsh when it comes to hand luggage as thy are worried about planes being hijacked
I think it is misunderstanding.. Every flight allow you to take hand baggage on flights. I flew to London in June with Ryanair and I could have about 10 kg. You should check sites of air flights companies.
I flew back from Gdansk on 9th sept, we were allowed hand luggage but no liquids, not even duty free!
No liquids, check of electronics (they get you to turn on and off mobiles laptops etc) and two security checks to get through. But they will let you on with your hand baggage. Flew Krakow to London 2 days ago.
I just flew back from Krakow about 2 weeks ago and they were allowing carry on luggage. Still no liquids or gels, etc. We had to go through 3 security checkpoints and they pat everyone down. They also make you turn on all your electronic devices to make sure that they are what the appear. I was getting annoyed, but I'd rather be safe on the flight back.
