Where is the best place to stay for a weekend of night life in prague?
Ther will be a group of us in our late 20's wanting to sample the prague night life. also is it expensive when your there?
Answers:
Prague is a fairly small city and very easy to get around due to the amazing public transport (Trams, buses, underground - all integrated,)
Best bet is to be near the centre (stare mesto, mala strana, nova mesto, wenceslas square, or republic square) or to just be near a metro or tram line.
Its cheaper to stay further out and you can usually get into the centrevery easily, quickly and cheaply on the public transport.
Watch out for taxi drivers that will try to rip you off!! Always negotiate a price BEFORE getting in and its best to book a taxi or ring one rather than hail one!
Have a good time, Prague is amazing!

be sure to watch "Hostel" before you go! *L*
As long as your near to wenceslas square you should be ok.
Prices vary but are not much different than the UK now.
Enjoy it its good..
