you only need to bring your birth certificate + your passport to get married in Morocco.
when you're in Morocco, you'll have to go to your embassy to get a document called: "capacité de mariage" you'll have to swear that your christian and pay the fee and take your partener's ID with you to get that document.
then you'll have to take the : "capacité de mariage" to the "ministere des affaires etrangere" in Rabat to get it stamped. once it's stamped take it to the "ministere de justice" in Rabat to get another document from there called "casier judiciere" in English it's known as criminal record. till now you don't have to translate anything.
So this is the first step.. I'll find out what you should do next and keep you updated.
I don't know the nationalities of all involved and I can't say that I know Morocco's laws, but my sister (an American) was married in Senegal (to another American) and a lot of the west African french based countries have similar bureaucracy and it was surprisingly simple. She got the wedding license and two days later she got married and marriage licenses are pretty much accepted where ever you go, there not like passports, they're relatively easy.. but then again, Morocco could be different and none of this could be use full.
You can only get married in Morocco if one of the partners is a Moroccan citizen.
You will need at least the following documents:
- passport plus a photocopy
- birth certificate (Acte de Naissance)
- proof of citizenship of your country (Attestation de Nationalité)
- proof that you are not already married (Certificat de Célibat)
- statement of (lack of) criminal record
- medical certificate (Certificat Médical Pré-nuptial)
More documents may be required in your particular case. Contact a Moroccan consulate before traveling to Morocco for the wedding.
