Where does the sun rises in Sweden?
Answers:
East, of course, but in winter, it seems more southeast. Since Sweden is so far north, daylight hours are short in winter, and the sun doesn't really "rise" straight up, stay overhead around noontime, then go 'straight' down for a sunset. It sort of rolls up over the horizon toward the southeast, then slowly rolls down sort of southwest direction for sunset. Daylight hours are shortest in the few weeks prior and after solstice (around Dec 21).
In the sky

from the east
Sun rises in the east..sets in the west
The sun doesn't rise anywhere, it's the earth that moves.
