Where is the best city to visit for shopping?
Answers:
London - definitely, each area has it own character and boutique shops that you will never find anywhere else unlike most cloned high streets where all you get are the chain stores.
Rome
London!
Barcelona, followed by Venice
I hear Amsterdam is good for shopping, also Paris, and Milan although you will need plenty of money.
my college tutoor jetted off to milan a couple of times to go shopping
here in the philippines, its good to shop in the beautiful city of cainta. there are several malls to choose from. may hon. Mon Ilagan will thank me. haha..
Melbourne, Australia! you havent been shopping till you have been to Melbourne baby!
Milan! Absolutely brilliant for designer gear and much cheaper than the UK. You can get Prada, Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Fendi, Armani, Cavalli, Bulgari, Valentino, Missoni etc.
I am gona have to go with Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
Buenos Aires ( Unicenter Shopping)
New York City (NYC) - Manhatten.
You can still speak the english language, everything is in walking distance and their are so many extras.
Without question Milan!
London because it has so much choice and cuture
Personally I like shopping anywhere that you can haggle - you don't necessarily end up with things that you want, but its fantastic (and cheap) entertainment. I'd recommend the souk in Marrakech or Jerusalem.
London, followed a close second by Birmingham
Rome or Milan. Italy basically.
shanghai
Madrid.oooohhh
I don't see what ThomsonUK has to do with this question. Perhaps it's one of those barred ads, not intercepted by the Yahoo boys.
Paris! It's got tonnes of designer clothes!
New York! It is the city of shopping!
London! Shopping paradise!
Birmingham!
Bullring!
Highstreet!
London
There isn't a best city. These type of questions are of a very adolescent nature. As a travel agency you should know that all cities have their good and bad points. I spent 20 years travelling the world and in my experience all cities offer excellent shopping facilities. If you had asked for the dirtiest city, that's easy, it's Paris, or the cleanest even easier, it's Amsterdam.
dublin is the best for shopping. Dundrum shopping centre has won the award of best shopping centre in the world.there are also other wonderful places to shop in Dublin city. Liffey valley shopping centre is great if you're on a budget as is The Square in Tallaght. Dundrum has the exclusive shops, so if you've money to burn, that's where to go.
New York
Dubai
DUBAI for sure!
Got to say Amsterdam is one of the best cities, closely followed by London and Milan. That is if we are staying in Europe, but further afield I would go for Hong Kong - all the hustle and bustle and bargains a plenty . easily the best!
Chiang mai - Thailand!!
Chichicastenango in Guatemala. seriously.
