What is the best travel agents that you have used me and my mate cant decide on which one to use?

If you can suggest a good destination to go to aswell it would be helpful cheers

Answers:
Why use a travel agent? Do it online using expedia or something like it - much better and almost always better deals than with travel agents in the high street.

Where to go - depends on your budget!
The Girls in First Choice in Hamilton near Glasgow..are good try them
If you want to save money, don't go anywhere near a High Street Travel Agent!

They have to pay for those nice brochures, the shops and the staff, and they do this by getting a nice commision from holidays and flights etc that they sell, which ultimately you pay for as this is factored in to package holiday prices.

Use a web agent if you can or, better still, book your flights and accomodation independantly, I have done this lots of times and gotten very cheap deals.
I have used most high street travel agents, aswell as teletext holidays and internet hols.

In answer to your question about Agents i have found orchid travel, actually Thomas cook have plenty of tour operators in their portfolio offering excellent choice and very good value late deals, especially if you are unable to book online because of having no debit or credit card.

I can reccommend Corfu, Sidari for a relaxing sunny holiday with plenty of nightlife and fantastic people, the island is easy to get around and lots of other lively or relaxing resorts too, may be quieter at the moment.

Also Ibiza town or resort nearby for a quiet holiday with the option to get more lively if you wish.

And Turkey, Kusadasi is a firm favourite of mine, fantastic people, excellent value for money shopping, food and drink reasonable.

All three are places i will return to.
The High Street travel agents I have used are First Choice, Thomas Cook and the Flight Centre. I tend to use The Flight Centre http://www.flightcentre.co.uk/ as they are staffed by experienced people who can cater for all different types of holidaymakers and travellers as well as complex itineraries. I now tend to avoid the likes of First Choice and Lunn Poly. Thomas Cook are OK if you choose the right branch. The online travel agents can be good if you keep it simple.
As for destinations, you don't specify what interests you have, how long you have for holiday, and how much time you are prepared to spend travelling. However, I've just received a brochure from Explore Adventures http://www.explore.co.uk/ yesterday morning and they seem have a few good ideas for holidays.
Serenity Holidays,& I am biased so, I would recommend Africa,
some parts are really cheap & cheerful &have no jet lag & at this time of the year there summer will be starting shortly (November)
TRy The Gambia?Senegal,Ghana?
to hell with travel agents,Portland Direct are good, reasonably priced too
