How can two different businesses have different business objectives?

Answers:
They could be selling different good. They could be in the same business sector but one could be a private entity therefore there objectives would be to make profit. The other could be a public body in which case their business objective would be to provide the best service, to as many people as possible forgoing profit.
Well let's see, British Airways is an airline company and it's objective is to fly people places.
A different business is Sainsbury's, they are a supermarket and their objective is to sell people groceries.
It's that simple. I could give more examples!!
