What is the procedure for taking a child's buggy/stroller onto an easyjet flight?
Hoping to travel for abroad with my toddler next year - she still needs her buggy but wondered if this was allowed on a flight and if so what I need to do - ie fold it or tag it etc?
Sorry for being so dense - it is so obvious I am far from being a globe trotter!

Every airline is a bit different. You can either check it at the counter (don't recommend that) or check it plane-side - this means you take it as a carry-on and you get to use it in the airports, but it's too big to put it inside the plane, so they put it in the cargo hold. Most airlines will have a gate check tag they will put on it, but ask when you first check in. Make sure you have some sort of identification on the stroller. That stroller will then be waiting in the jet bridge at your destination (and every connecting airport). As an airline worker I'll tell you I have no idea how to fold your stroller, so you will do that before you get on the plane. Also make sure it is one that folds (I don't think they make any that don't), If there are any parts that are removable (canopy, tray table etc.) take those off and check them, if they fall off you may never see them again. I hope this answered your questions.
It will be tagged and be checked in at the airport. Depending on the amount of luggage you will have will depend on if there is a charge for the buggy. When you arrive at your destination, the buggy will be picked up at a different place than your luggage. Airports have a place called 'larger items pickup area' or wording to that effect. In other words, it will not come out with your luggage because of the size.
People do this all the time so it's not a problem. But do check with the airline to see what their rules are about toddlers on airplanes - i.e. special seating, etc
Hope this helps. :)
They will give you a bag for your folded up buggy.
