What is a single entry schengen visa, can you use it for 2 countries/?

i already went to spain and used it last week, can i still use it for my holiday in italy in 2 weeks time?

Answers:
No, a single entry schengen visa means you can only use it for entering one schengen country, once. If you want to visit two or more countries, or if you want to go into a schengen country, leave, and then go back, you need a multiple entry visa.
I would assume that if your visa says it is single entry schengen visa then you can only enter the schengen region once (regardless of where you visited once you were in). If you have used it to go to Spain, then I would assume you can't use the visa to go to Italy if you have left the Schengen region. Speak to the Italian embassy.
with single -entry visa u may enter the shengen-zone only once
but you allowed to travel to other european countrys, who are member of shengen-zone
from the day you leave europe, specific the shengenzone, you not allowed to enter again, as your visa is a single entry visa only
