Anyone here migrated to australia where should i look to live any tips?

You'll find most tips just outside most towns. Try living at your local tip in the UK before moving to a tip in Australia though, you might not like it.
I am an indian and came here (sydney) with my husband as a student. budget was tight when we arrived and house rent here is a major expence. if you are looking for a big house for a family then it could be cheaper to go towards the suburbs like paramatta where there is cheaper accomodation. you might have to spend a bit of travel time to reach the city. if you are single and dont mind staying in a studio or share an apartment then the city isnt bad... you will find lots of people looking for flatmates, though you share the house it comes very cheap and you get to be in the city where all the action is. i hope this helps. good luck
