I would suggest you either check with your airline or Travel Agent. Enjoy your stay. Get some of that good New York style pizza while you're there!!
If you have your tickets it will be in the booking details, if not check.

does depend on the airline but usually if you are staying for a while and on a long haul flight then you can usually take two 25kg cases each. if you go over these weights the excess is expensive anything from £40 - £90 depending on the airline so try and avoid going over. you can fit alot in two cases tho and clothes are cheaper in the states! hope this helps.
