Has anybody stayed at Birdies Nest in Tobago? Was it a good experience? How is the social scene at Black Rock?
A small group of us are going to Tobago but none of us drive,so was wondering about walking distances to restaurants etc.
Answers:
I've never been, but there should be some local pubs and clubs!..

I enjoyed it .
na i live in trinidad
nope
Yes, I have heard of it but never been there. Black Rock does not have much social scene happening except on Sundays for the "Sunday School Lime". There are just a couple of restaurants in Black Rock but if you are looking to be in a more centralised area, then Crown Point is where you should stay. Lots of restaurants walking distance from each other, fast food places, local rum shop and other things happening. Or, you could simply taxi around the island or take the bus.
My girl Daisy is on the money as usual. Everything in Crown Point is literally within walking distance - even the airport!
If you stay in the Crown Point area you can walk to everything.
Enjoy....you will be back.
