Dubai - what electrical travel adaptor will i need?
Off to Dubai in 2 weeks, does anyone know what the voltage is over there and what type of sockets they have on the wall?
I'm from the UK.

its the same plugs as in the uk so you will be okay, have a great time i have been to dubai twice and loved it both times

Hi there, I'm a expat Scot living in Dubai so you can trust me on this one to be correct. It was the Brits that set up the Nation Grid system here so all the plug points are the same as U.K. Normal 3 pin job. No need to buy any adaptors. The only glitch is when you buy an electrical appliance in Dubai - they come with 2 pins, so we have to buy adaptors here! Madness. Hope this helps.
