try the flee market, located at Porte de Bilancourt (marche aux puces), you will enjoy it and will find tons of great stuff at very reasonable prices !
Hmm, I'm not sure you'll find what you're looking for at the flea markets. I would recommend the Rue de Rennes, in the 6th. It's a really long street with a good selection of moderately-priced stores and has a ton of shoe stores. Jonak is a great women's shoe store, for example. The clothing stores are the same chains you find everywhere: H&M, Etam, Promod, Esprit, Zara, Kookai, Mango, Benetton, Gap. If you're looking for inexpensive, specifically French brands, there aren't many. You might try the Avant Premiere brand at Galeries Lafayette.
