i've been in malaysia for like 5 days and I like it's tourist spots. malaysia is a very nice place, organized and clean.
i dont think they do , only beause its next to thailand where they flock to over and over again , malaysia dosnt offer very much it has some placesbut once you been there done that its a bore
Malaysia offers some rare nature items, like:
- Orang Utans
- Sipadan (Amazing dive spot)
- Rafflesia
- Huge caves

first n foremost, i think is safety. No one would visit a dangerous country unless they have some special assignment or they are really adventurous. Malaysia are much more : [1]politically stable [2] safe living condition [3] cheap [4] 'open' all year round without season [5] having something/attraction that truly special [6] plenty n various delicious foods etc etc etc than a lot of others country in this world !
of course Malaysia is not perfect but any perfect country in this world?

Malaysia is an OK spot for tourist. I would not rate it as the best compared to places like Bali (Indonesia), Thailand, China, Japan etc. Malaysia is cheap, the food is unique if you are talking about food in Malacca and Penang. There are some unique history especially in Malacca.
Of course, you cannot compare Malaysia in terms of history to say China, Rome or Egypt whose civilization are over 1200 years old.
I would still rate Malaysia over Singapore anytime, Singapore to me is like a mini version of modern day Tokyo except its 10 times smaller. Plus Malaysia is a lot less expensive. The SG$ dollar is really high.
Seriously, if folks have never been to Asia, I'd recommend some other spots but if you'd like to spend 3-5 days in Malaysia & you know where to go to get the best out of it, I'd say you can get a pretty decent adventure. Just don't hold hands or kiss in public.lol.
