I'm flying to Canada in two days and I'm very confused as to what I can take on the plane with me?
I think I've got the basics, no liquids of any kind and the dimentions of the cabin bag I can take, but I'd like to take my DS and my video camera and I'm not sure if they're allowed with me.
Answers:
If you have any doubts, look on the TSA website.
But, you will have no problem taking your DS and your video camera.
Oh, one more thing, don't ask the airlines about specific things you can and can't take on the plane, they tend to give the wrong answer. Only ask them about size and weight limits for both your check in and carry on bags.
The TSA has a website. It should have everything listed there. If not call your airline.
Yes you can take your DS and your video camera along board.
Enjoy your flight.
you don't have to be confused because carry dis man and your cam er phone and when you get there you cant buy a video cam-er.
You can take your DS and camera but if you are unsure telephone the airline they will be happy to tell you what is and is not allowed.
from what you said you should be alright, but I would advise that your hippopotamus be carried in your suitcase
you can take electronics and most airlines are allowing liquids again (3 ounces or less). call the airlines if you have any questions.
You can 100% take your Nintendo DS and video camera, just listen to regulations onboard.
Our restrictions were lessened recently.
Passengers will be permitted to bring liquids, gels and aerosols through security screening at Canadian airports provided that the items are packaged in containers with a capacity of 90 ml / 90 grams (3 oz.) or less, and that the containers fit comfortably in one clear, closed and resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (1 quart). One bag per passenger will be permitted.
Baby formula, baby food and milk when passengers are travelling with a child aged two years and under, liquid prescription medicine and essential non-prescription liquid medicines, are exempt from the container size restrictions and are not required to be placed in a plastic bag. However, passengers must declare all such items not in a bag or over 90 ml / 90 grams (3 oz.) in capacity to screening authorities. These passengers may be subject to additional screening.
In order to minimize potential delays at the screening point, passengers must remove from their carry-on bag, the closed, re-sealable plastic bag containing all permitted liquids, gels, and aerosols and place them directly into the trays provided at the beginning of the screening process.
There are no size or bag restrictions for liquids and gels packed in checked baggage.
Portable computers and other electronic devices such as CD players, digital cameras and cellular phones ARE PERMITTED in carry-on baggage.
