Which one is best. Universal, Disney, Sea World or Busch Gardens in Orlando Florida?
All good parks with great rides and attractions. But which one is best for value and a great day out.
Answers:
If you are into animals, Busch Gardens. You only have to buy one ticket to see everything in the park. Also, for rides, they have quite a few now. They have really grown over the past few years. And, if you are going to be here for more than one day, you can use your ticket to come again the next day. It isn't any more money or it wasn't when I went two years ago anyway. Disney is terrific but unless you get the Park Hopper pass, you only get one choice of which "park" to go into. Univeral is good but most of the rides are for small children.it's all movie themes. Sea World has the same rules and prices as Busch Gardens since they are "sister" parks but the animals are mostly all water creatures. So it depends on your taste. Also, if you choose Disney or probably any of these parks, the first week in December is the best week to go.no lines, virtually no waiting. Seriously! And that frees you to enjoy a lot more of the park. Have a good time cause you won't go wrong with any of them! Also, if you decide to go to Busch Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo is just around the corner from them and totally worth the trip for seeing animals close up and in a pretty realistic enviornment.also, they do rehabilitation for hurt, injured or sick animals and this is such a positive experience if you are an animal lover. It really gives you a good perspective.
Personal preference for me has always been Universal Studios. So many different things to do, something for everyone.
Busch Gardens in Tampa. There is more to see and do and it costs a lot less. I lived in Tampa for 10 years. It's a great place to go!
Sea World for me purely because of the interaction with the dolphins and it's free if you go to Discovery Cove
Universal Studios
I was there two years ago..and I thought that Universal was by far the better place.
The Disney worlds were looking a bit tired and dated.
Sea world was good value as well
It really depends on your age. Disney is the best if you have little kids. Universal and Busch Gardens are great for teens and adults. Over 21 Busch Gardens because you can learn how to make beer and sample different beers. Sea world is ok Ive never really liked it. If its you and your family, Disney and Sea world are more family oriented parks. Universal and Busch Gardens are more for groups of friends looking to go and have a good time.
First of all Disney has 4 major theme parks plus many smaller ones. The major parks are
Magic Kingdom
EPCOT
Disney MGM Studios
Animal Kingdom
Universal has 2 parks
Universal Studios Florida
Islands of Adenture
as for Bush Gardens it is about 2 hrs away from Orlando in the Tampa Bay area.
I prefer EPCOT for it's international pavilions where you can enjoy many cultures along with scientific exhibits such as the living Seas which have dolphins, sharks, tropical fish and the Space Ship earth ride which takes you through a journey through time from prehistoric times to the future.
As for the places for roller coasters and exciting rides I enjoy Universal's "Islands of Adventure."
I worked at Sea World for a couple of years so going there makes me feel like I'm at work so =-p. LOL
Busch Gardens is in Tampa. 80 miles from Orlando. Sea World and Downtown Disney are the best as far as I'm concerned.
Universal is the best park in Orlando. Get the ticket that lets you go between both parks. Busch Gardens is great , but it's not in Orlando. Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is the best park ever.
Depends on your age. Disney is FANTASTIC for children and people with children. Universal is great for younger teens, comic nerds, and those who go for the attractions. Busch gardens is great for older teens and thrill seekers. Sea Land is perfect for those who don't care about roller coasters, thrill rides, or anything like that but love attractions, the occasional excitement of a ride and of course water rides.
I honestly wish I could say which is the best,go to them all and be a kid again, they are all lots of fun, best wishes, enjoy them all!
I haven't been to Busch Gardens.but that's a little ways away from Orlando in Tampa. Out of the other three, I'm going to have to Universal is the best.especially Universal's Island of Adventure (or whatever it's called.it's been 6 1/2 years since I've been there) with all the roller coasters and such.
They are all great , it depends what takes your fancy on the day.
Dinner with Shamu, all the Universal parks are amazing as
Disney parks . Enjoy!
Walt Disney World is obviously the best. First of all, it's the number one vacation destination in the world. Nobody travels to Orlando to go to Universal Studios, Sea World, or Busch Gardens (which is actually in Tampa Bay, not Orlando.) People come to the Orlando area for Walt Disney World, and to check out any other parks if they have time afterwards.
Walt Disney World is really it's own world. There's four incredible theme parks- Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney - MGM Studios, EPCOT, and the Magic Kingdom, two awesome water parks- Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, and Downtown Disney, which consists of a hundred fabulous shops and restaurants, Pleasure Island (an assortment of night clubs,) DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, an AMC 24-Theatre Complex, and Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba. Plus, there's an infinite amount of recreation. Everything you could imagine- championship golf, mini golf, parasailing, tubing, water skiing, fishing, boating, horseback riding, pony rides, carriage and wagon rides, fireworks cruises, racecar driving at the Richard Petty Driving Course, behind-the-scenes tours at the different theme parks, etc. And there's over 25 different Resort options on property to explore.
You could stay at Walt Disney World for a month or more and not get bored or run out of things to do. Even people who are fans of Universal Studios will (or should) admit that that park only takes an afternoon to complete. There's not something for everyone at Universal Studios. I dislike Universal Studios very much. Even if you only have one day, spend it at Walt Disney World. You won't be able to do even a 10th of the stuff there is to do, but you'll have an unforgettable time and it'll make you want to go back for a nice, long vacation.
Here's a little bit of helpful information about the different theme parks.
All of the parks you mentioned are within the top 12 parks in North America, Busch Gardens being 12th with 4.3 million. Each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks is in the top five parks. Both of the Universal Studios parks in Florida have declined by 8.5 percent.
"1. Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, 16.1 million, +6.5 percent
2. Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. 14.5 million, +8.5 percent
3. Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando, 9.9 million, +5.5 percent
4. Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, 8.6 million, +5 percent
5. Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, 8.2 million, +5 percent
6. Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando, 6.1 million, -8.5 percent
7. Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim, Calif., 5.8 million, +3.6 percent
8. Universal's Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando, 5.76 million, -8.5 percent
9. SeaWorld Orlando, 5.6 million, +0.2 percent
10. Universal Studios Hollywood, 4.7 million, -6 percent
11. Adventuredome at Circus Circus in Las Vegas, 4.5 million, +2.3 percent
12. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, 4.3 million, +5.1 percent"
Disney
Kids may prefer the Disney. For adults the others, maybe Busch Gardens in Tampa..
Busch Gardens or Universal Island of Adventure. Been to both a million times. Busch gardens has much more variety.
depends on the ages.little kids disney, older universal or busch gardens--i love sea world but only 3 rides~~~
I just came back from Orlando on the 24th. Disney is AMAZING even if you don't have kids. Animal Kingdom was pretty cool, Seaworld was nice, I was a little disappointed in Universal, I woudl recommend MGM Studios over Universal. If you like Crocs and Alligators you should definitley go to Gatorland!
It depends on the ages of the people going and what they are interested in.
If you have kids, I'd say to go to Disney World because they will associate with the characters and have a good time.
Universal and Islands of Adventure are for more of the teenagers. They have many thrill rides and rollercoasters, as does Bush Gardens.
Sea World would be the best to visit if you have really small children: babies to about age 4 or 5 because there are a lot of animal-themed shows, and very few rides.
Hope I helped
for rides and stuff.i say universal, adventure island, and MGM has the best rides. no matter what i would go to adventure island and MGM though cause it's awesome. and i wouldn't miss out on magic kingdom because it really feels like the whole experience of disney world just in that park. gosh i miss disney world sooo much!
Busch Gardens is my favorite, but it is located in Tampa, not Orlando. It has the most rides, games, and attractions.
In the Orlando area, I like Seaworld because it is the most informative and educational plus I think you get your money's worth.
Good luck in choosing.
Universal Studios has slightly better rides, but Disney has great rides too and all the characters. My vote is Disney (especially Epcot)
Has to be Busch Gardens even though it is an hours drive from Orlando but worth while the drive! Easy to get on the rides especially when you arrive early as it didn't get busy until lunch time. Lots to see and do and much cheaper than Orlando theme parks and a thumbs up from me any time!
Disney - the ambiance is amazing. The attention to detail in everything is wonderful. Plus, the staff is the friendliest. Great place to visit if you are a fan of all things Disney. Best place for children.
Universal - Great if you are a movie buff and/or like thrill rides. Spiderman is one of the world's best simulators.
Sea World - Fun for aquatic and animal fans. Plus, free beer in the visitor's center. It is owned by Anheuser Busch.
Busch Gardens - Fun coasters (Sheikra is the best!). However, the park is dirty and the staff isn't that friendly. Neither are most of the visitors.
